Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Attica, Ind. (CNS) — Fred Baltimore Harper, 90, of Attica Route 3, died at 6:05 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 14, 1967) at the Alward Nursing Home. He had been a patient there seven months. A retired farmer, he had resided in Warren County for the past 76 years, coming to Indiana with his parents in a covered wagon. Born Jan. 7, 1877, near Richwood, Ohio, he was the son of Francis and Mary Ellen Brink Harper. He was married Nov. 27, 1904, at Attica to Sylvia Orta Yater, who died on April 12, 1961. He was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Herman of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Clawson of Rockville and Mrs. Frances Joan Morgan of Attica Route 3; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the DeSutter Funeral Home. The Rev. Eldon Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
